We should always be mindful that tomorrow belongs to God. Therefore, walking in the aware Ness that our identity, significance and all achievement are all in God. Our total dependence is upon Him. The number of our days is in His hands. Our longevity is His prerogative. In His sovereignty, He calls home whenever He chooses so. However, because He is the One Who commissions, whatever He does aligns with His purposes upon our lives as well as His Faithfulness.

Where do you stand? Are you walking in His will, or doing your own thing, living your own life? What have you been ordained to do or to be? Are you tracking in that lane, taking each day that comes as a gift, a privilege, and a task part of a broader assignment only to be accomplished by you? Many times, we go on to postpone what we were to engage in today as if we have the assurance of tomorrow for ourselves.

We should never forget that in Him we live, move, and have our being (Acts 17:28). Thus, we should live for Him all the way, obedient and willing to perform His purposes even as we walk by faith in this journey. After all, whenever that attitude prevails, He goes ahead of us in every season, fights for us, and watches over us. What is it that we do not owe to Him? Lord teach us to number our days, that we may get us a heart of wisdom (Psalms 90:12AMP).

Good Morning.

Lead me to the Rock Higher than I

Lead me to the Rock higher than I. Shield me even as You help me to remain consistent in my relationship with You. Obedience to Your call is what matters most, sets me apart, and distinguishes me. Your assignment is more rewarding than any other pursuit. Sustain me in Your will and grant me enough boldness, wisdom, and determination to uphold this focus. When discouragement knocks at the door of my heart, let Your closeness prevail even as Your Truth reminds me that in You I subdue every obstacle, and overcome all manner of opposition. Remind me that delay is no denial. Instead, build my faith with every trial that comes (my way).

Cause me to feel Your Presence whenever doubt besiege my inner self. Let Your gentle touch and whisper of guidance provide me with the needed assurance to press forward as I determine to do Your will. At any given time in my journey, keep the eyes of my heart open so that I am always connected with You. This way, fear will never attempt to cloud my horizon or being. I will focus on what You called me into, that which I am born for. Let Your hand lead me in righteousness whilst Your Spirit carries me. Worship enables us to connect and hear God. As the best expression of faith, worship (in the spirit and in truth) pleases God. It opens the heavens and we pour our hearts to the Lord. When we connect with God, we receive answers, wisdom and insights. Our way is enlightened and fresh hope is born out of the engagement with the Master. Who else do we have in heaven but God, and what more should we desire here than the Source of all things (Ps. 73:25 KJV)? The open secret to go past the crossroads is an unconditional return to the altar, where petitions are guaranteed an appropriate way forward.

The best answer is always one aligning with God's will. Because He leads and guides, and has the best of interests for us when we trust Him, we have the assurance to overcome all temporary inconvenience, delays and opposition, and intricate doubts that distill setbacks instead of propelling forward. Worship reinvents and reignites clarity of spirit by reuniting us with the Spirit of God, and causing us to see the new way with fresh (spiritual) eyes (Is 43:19 KJV).

Good Morning.

Humility first

Humility is an expression of thankfulness to the One from Whom flows the gift of life. Humility is an attitude that captures God's attention because it is rooted in faith. Walking in humility is acknowledging God's grace and mercy extended to us daily. After all, waking up every morning is not a guarantee except through God. Hence, pride and self sufficiency should never enter our hearts or be found in our lives. We are much dependent upon God's mercy, and faithfulness. Humility intrinsically translates the reverent fear of the Lord even as it triggers God's lifting (James 4:6NLT). Humility is the wisdom and willingness to let God take full control of our lives. Humility is a character trait as evidenced by Christ's life, and we are all called to emulate Him (Phil. 2:7-8NLT). Wherever humility is found, God’s Presence abides, leads, favors, defends, and causes to prevail regardless of the circumstances. Visibly, humility is rewarding (because God delights in it). It requires our alertness and spiritual sensitivity. Else the intruder will get in unnoticed and cause damage. His goal is always to distract, delay, destroy and cause havic in a varietyof ways. A little of bit of slumber, and he gets in as a cunny thief. A slight moment of reduced attention allows the enemy's intrusion to become effective.

We are in a season whereby every inch of watchfulness is imperative for any spiritual survival. Oftentimes, we get caught off guard due to complacency if not self exoneration. Yet we are all commanded to be alert. Prayer keeps us awake. Lack of it cultivates a conducive atmosphere for the intruder to get it. Any attitude that opens the door to unwanted guests needs emergency and permanent seal off. We are in a dispensation that can easily promote sophisticated distractions.

Our attention is called upon in order not to sink in the traps and snares laid by the enemy of our soul. Our eyes are enlightened and kept open solely by the Truth (synonymous with God's Word) locked in our hearts. Only the latter thrawrts every attempt of intrusion, and keeps the enemy at bay. Hence, how much of it is at work in your life to serve as a deterrent to the thief? Our survival, freedom and future depend to a greater extent if not exclusively on the amount of light projected by this Word out of our lives. This way, our walls are reinforced, secured by a steady watchfulness.

Good Morning.

Love empowers us to overcome obstacles of all kinds

Only obedience produces and avails redemption. The ultimate goal is for us to be established in alignment with God's will and purpose upon our lives. Thus, it all starts by our sensitive willingness to be timely positioned in our assignment. Far from the crowds and the clamoring of the world. To connect, interact, communicate, occasionally wrestle, and also let our petitions known. He has no problem engaging us, only that oftentimes, either we drag our feet before heading the closets (i.e. the altar), or we get too distracted if not sunk in the cares of this world to be able to lift our head and shoulders on time to run to the Source of life and solutions that be. We desperately need this slot at the altar to spend quality time with our Creator, to pour our heart to Him but also to hear His heartbeat.

Except we engage in such kind of (intimate) dialogue, our growth remains stunted, incredibly compromised, unable to reach our full potential. Subsequently, we fall short fulfilling our ordained assignment. There is no greater loss, no disheartening tragedy than this. We are destined for higher heights, and such attainment is much dependent on our relationship with God, cultivated in part, if not exclusively, by the time spent in His Presence.

It's mainly this attitude that enables us to acquire more of His character, receive divine wisdom and guidance, and perform better afterwards in the assignment that aligns with His will and purposes. This ultimately determines our reward. Only such a process attracts joy in our lives, worth, and fruitfulness because it completely eliminates the distraction that breeds frustrating barrenness. It instead builds surrender out of which emerges the oneness that makes all the difference.

Good Morning.

There is no greater ministry than this. That's what we are to live for. Except that attitude be found in us, all other labor is in vain. God is in and with us when we display love all around us and wherever we are. That's the stamp of our identity (when we profess to be Christ's followers). Unless love is our intrinsically adopted lifestyle, we can hardly relate to Christ.

Faith enables us to walk in that love in every season, no matter the circumstances confronting us. It is all by grace the Lord alone avails when we are found in Him. On our own, we are unable and versatile, weak and vulnerable, inadequate and hesitant enough to remain steady and determined in our walk and assignment. Only the testimony of love and faith can speak on our behalf, impact others (through selfless service), and imprint a lasting legacy (Philem. 1:7AMP).

Good Morning.
