Help me surrender

Lord, help me to surrender! Though deep down I know I have heard Your voice (calling), I struggle saying yes, and hurry at the altar. Help me Lord to say yes, obey and follow like Abraham, and remain resolute like Daniel. Help me to surrender and walk in Your footsteps, my heart full of faith and the eagerness to align with, and do Your purposes. Lord help me to surrender, and make You my hiding place, my Rock and my shelter, my lead, my permanent Source of instruction, guidance and wisdom, my King and my Master. Help me to do Your will. I acknowledge that on my own, I hesitate and doubt, stumble and drag my feet. Help me to be firm and remain put in my choices rooted in Your Truth.

Reinforce my scared steps, and keep me steady in Your purposes and assignment. Help me to walk by faith, and deliver me from all fears, doubts and hesitations. Sustain my spirit, and instill confidence in my inner being. Let Your Presence accompany me all the way. Keep my praises and worship of You alive even when contrary winds are attempt to unsettle my stand. Let Your reliable mercy draw and delineate my trajectory as I purpose to follow wherever You lead in (Your) service. Lord, help me in my total surrender to You, then the kind of freedom I long for will enlighten and brighten my path and days.
